New Nail Appliqués

Let's face it, when you're into hair, makeup, clothes, and jewelry; getting it all together can be exhausting! Even if you're not entirely into that, you're still making all of these choices regardless of how much thought goes into it. First comes choosing the right outfit. Next, deciding on the best hair style and makeup choices. THEN, matching the perfect bag, shoes, and jewelry with all of that (Make sure the metal on your belt, bags, zippers, etc. matches all that jewelry too, ladies)! If you're a mother, then you're trying to do all of that AND choose the majority of those things for all of your children. Sometimes those husbands too! Oh, and by the way, it all has to be done by 7am. Phew! On top of all of that, we have to make sure our nails are looking good. Nothing is more of an epic fail than your nails being a disaster with everything else on point. On the other hand, who really has the twenty minutes of drying time in or out of the salon? I know I struggle with this dilemma all the time! I usually am thinking that it's "good enough" on the dry time only to find out that in two minutes I've already nicked the polish even though I'm making a conscience effort not to [Insert cursing under your breath now] Well, with technology, that may be coming to an end!

As you may know, the nail industry is in a shift over the way things are done. Such things like Shellac, which basically is polish that turns into armor on your nails and requires a UV light to dry the product, is taking over.  Recently nail appliqués, or sticker designs, for the nails are becoming more and more popular. Minx is an amazing version of this and is definitely at the top of my list in this category. However, if you can't make it to the salon or find a Minx Certified Professional in your area, then you may want to check out this other option I found. I was recently reading an article on Italy's Cosmoprof Bologna Trade Show, known as the largest beauty event in the world, and I came across a product called Incoco. They are a company that makes self-stick 100% nail polish strips. They claim that it will last up to 14 days. I often can't get more than a couple of days out of a polish manicure, so I'm excited for nail appliqués like this! I hope they're everything they claim to be. I recently put an order in for this particular product so I can test it out for myself. Maybe this will make one less thing for us to do so often! Stay tuned for the results!
